The Fairmile D was one of the most widely produced military boats of the Second World War, designed as a countermeasure against the German Schnellboots – fast torpedo boats that interfered with the operations of British military and merchant vessels in the English Channel. The boat was armed with two automatic 57mm 6pdr QF Mk.IIa cannons, twin 20mm Oerlikon Mk V cannons, two twin 12.7mm calibre Vickers Mk V machine guns and two twin .303” (7.7mm) calibre Vickers G.O. No5 machine guns. The premium 5001 version of the Fairmile D is equipped with two 450 mm Mk.XV torpedoes and two 533 mm Mk.VIII torpedoes. All premium vehicles allow you to earn increased Research Points and Silver Lions for each battle and comes furnished with all available modifications.
